Muchas veces bastaba con el trato de palabra y el apret\u00f3n de manos para sellar un contrato. Otras veces, para asuntos de m\u00e1s enjundia, un documento escrito y firmado por ambas partes, respaldado por un par de testigos era suficiente para dar valor al contenido del mismo. Esta era pr\u00e1ctica muy habitual en las compraventas de fincas o bienes inmuebles.
